Join the Church Online - Part 2
Posted by: | CommentsI want to welcome those of you who have joined the Church Online! We have about 25 people who have signed up so far. We are praying for an initial core group of 100 people before we really start getting active with the site.
One of the things we are hoping to do with the Church Online is to develop it the way we would if we were starting a church anywhere. Churches don’t start out with all their programs in place. They start by gathering a group of people together who share a vision for the Kingdom. Then, as they all add their gifts and talents things begin to happen.
So far, I have been inviting people to join the Church Online who I think might be interested in adding this online ministry into the mix of their lives. The church online is not intended to replace the important relationships that are established and maintained in the local church community. The church online hopes to be a place where people from all over the world can connect, fellowship, and evangelize for the Kingdom of God.
To assist in incorporating people from every tribe, tongue, and nation, we have just installed a Global Translator on this site. This simple translator will allow the site to be translated into 41 different languages at the click of a button. If you would like to see the translator in action, visit the Church Online site and click on one of the flags on the right hand side of the site. It will translate whatever is on the page into whatever language you select.
If you know of some people who might be interested in becoming a part of this new church online adventure, please consider sending them an email and encourage them to begin a part of what we are doing here at the Church Online. You can also use the “Invite a Friend” option on the right side of the site. Just fill in your name, your email, and the email address of your friend and they will receive the following message from you:

WHAT IS THE CHURCH ONLINE?
The Church Online is being launched to reach out to people all around the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are looking for mature believers, new converts, and people who are still checking out what a relationship with Jesus is all about, to join us in this new adventure. If you are interested, just click here, Church Online, and look around the site. If you like what you see, please sign up the for the email subscription (it’s free) which is how we keep track of how many people are involved (there are several places on the site to sign up for the free email subscription). Our hope is to develop relationships with thousands of people around the world as we labor with love in His vineyard. We look forward to what God will do in us and through us as we partner together to advance His Kingdom.

Join the Church Online!
Posted by: | CommentsWelcome to the Church Online. We are starting a new church, completely online. This will not be a web extension of an existing church, it will be it’s own church and ministry. We are hoping to have people from all over the world join our Church Online. As the Church Online develops there will be a lot of opportunities for you to find a ministry. We will be adding a “Testimonies” page where you can write about what God has been doing in your life. We will add an “Around the World” page where our friends from all over the world can write about what God is doing in their country. We will set up a “Prayer” page so that people can receive prayer and offer prayer for people everywhere. We will introduce ways to use the Internet to spread the Good News all over the world to spiritual seekers as well as encourage believers in their daily walk. It is not our intention to be a substitute for local church membership where it is available, but to come alongside and bless where ever we can.
Rather than developing the Church Online and then inviting people to join, we are going to start this church just like we were starting a church anywhere. Our first step is to begin to share our vision and invite people to join. That is what this simple post is all about. Then we can all get the church online started together.
What we are looking for as our first goal is to get one hundred people to join the church online and begin to pray for its potential impact all over the world. As I write this post, I am the only person to have joined so far. I am going to invite my Internet friends to be a part of this first one hundred. Then we will begin to develop the church and and continue to invite more people.
