Join the Church Online - Part 2

I want to welcome those of you who have joined the Church Online! We have about 25 people who have signed up so far. We are praying for an initial core group of 100 people before we really start getting active with the site.

One of the things we are hoping to do with the Church Online is to develop it the way we would if we were starting a church anywhere. Churches don’t start out with all their programs in place. They start by gathering a group of people together who share a vision for the Kingdom. Then, as they all add their gifts and talents things begin to happen.

So far, I have been inviting people to join the Church Online who I think might be interested in adding this online ministry into the mix of their lives. The church online is not intended to replace the important relationships that are established and maintained in the local church community. The church online hopes to be a place where people from all over the world can connect, fellowship, and evangelize for the Kingdom of God.

To assist in incorporating people from every tribe, tongue, and nation, we have just installed a Global Translator on this site. This simple translator will allow the site to be translated into 41 different languages at the click of a button. If you would like to see the translator in action, visit the Church Online site and click on one of the flags on the right hand side of the site. It will translate whatever is on the page into whatever language you select.

The Church Online is being launched to reach out to people all around the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are looking for mature believers, new converts, and people who are still checking out what a relationship with Jesus is all about, to join us in this new adventure. Our hope is to develop relationships with thousands of people around the world as we labor with love in His vineyard.
